Place root vegetables into steamer basket. Cover with lid and steam root vegetables over medium heat for 30 minutes or until fork tender. Once the root vegetables are cooked, remove the steamed root vegetables from the steamer basket and place in a bowl. Serve with Stewed Salt Cod or Salt Cod Salad.
